IELTS is a globally recognized exam that assesses English language proficiency.
From February to May 2026, a group of students in grades 10-12 will attend weekly classes at the school, supported by the VJHS Endowment and led by teacher Gerda Tėvelytė-Tupinienė, who participated in Endowment-supported training at the University of Oxford.
This gives students the opportunity to prepare for this important English proficiency test in an accessible* and convenient way.
The project is in high demand, as twice as many students registered for the 2026 courses as there are spots in the group.
*The cost of a single IELTS lesson outside of school is over 20 euros!
