In the first quarter of 2026, the Endowment provided a donation of 500 euros to support the participation of three high school students in the international orchestra project “Ignatius Youth Philharmonic.”

The project aims to bring together students from twelve Jesuit high schools across Europe into a single youth orchestra, thereby helping talented students pursuing professional music studies to develop their skills. During the project, participants prepare orchestral works in an intensive creative environment, including Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, and perform them in concerts for an international audience.
In 2026, the project will be held for the first time and will take place from July 30 to August 11 at Kolleg St. Blasien (Germany).

This is a wonderful opportunity for students at the Vilnius Jesuit High School to become part of an international musical community, develop their orchestral skills, and represent Lithuania on the international stage. The Endowment will provide funding to cover participants’ tuition and travel expenses.
